Hi Everyone,

Let's take a moment to share your thoughts and comments about the 50TH CLASS REUNION!

This would include the Saturday night activity, but also feel free to discuss the Friday night kickoff and the Saturday morning tour.

It was a great turnout, and photos of the Saturday night affair will be uploaded later this week. I will send a mass email to everyone registered on the website (that means you) when they are up and how to find them.

What a GREAT class you have!!

I really enjoyed seeing my old classmates but was not happy with the venue.  Having the bar in the lobby of the hotel conflicted with the hotel reception.  It was too crowded and hard to get around to talk to people.  Also, there were not enough tables in the room we were in.  I understand they wanted it to be casual and have people able to mingle but made it very difficult for those of us who did not have a regular size table to eat at.  People had to resort to using serving stands with trays on the top.  We were a party of six and had a tiny little table which made it very hard to put our plates of food on.

It was great fun catching up and we thoroughly enjoyed each event.  The school tour was great--especially so having it hosted by those in the present senior class.  We do share the thoughts expressed in the above post.  If there were a lot of late RSVP's, it is understandable that the venues were planned for fewer attendees.  While I agree that the settings should support communication among the classmates, I do feel that if both had been just a bit larger it would have been more comfortable for all.  With a DJ, it could have been a blast with a small dance floor.  Thank you committee members for all of your hard work--it really is a thank-less job.

Thankyou Bob for taking all the pictures at the Reunion. Those of us who could not attend were very anxious to see them. I must say, though, that since we were not at the reunion to see the name tags on attendees, it is very difficult to know "who is who" in the pictures! Is there any way to put "names" on people like Facebook does? After 50 yrs. of living  away from Sacramento, I have totally lost contact with everyone I knew in high school and I am sure there are others who also had the same experience. Thanks for all your work on this.

Thanks to everyone who planned our reunion, and to everyone who made it happen at all three events.  Friday's gathering downtown was a good icebreaker for a weekend full of names and faces.  Saturday morning at McClatchy was really going back in time - can't say I recognized a lot of hallways and rooms - everything sure looked bigger and brighter.  Thanks for setting up whole tables full of memories in documents and The Prospector - nice to browse through while enjoying coffee and pastries - and while wondering where the heck we were.  Turns out that garden patio was for teachers only - we had never been allowed out there as students.  I learned about the new pool last year when my granddaughter competed there in a Pleasant Grove HS meet - great addition.  I missed the group photo in front of the school as I left early to head for Vic's - hope that photo is posted on the web sometime, too.  Saturday's huge event at the Regency was even more than I expected - good welcome table, lots of displays, great buffet, and quick service from the hotel staff.  The slide programs were so well done and were much appreciated - especially the heartbreaking one remembering those who had passed on.   Kudos to all of us still above the grass and the people who worked hard at getting us all back together, fifty years later.  The website is awesome - just ordered photos online.  Thanks again to the committee and all involved-
