CAVROS, Sherry Kay (Hanger)
Beloved wife of Mike Cavros, peacefully entered into the open arms of the Lord on November 7, 2010, surrounded by her loving family. Sherry was born in Sacramento, California, on December 5, 1942. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hap and Estelle Hanger; sister Marlene; and son Steven. She is survived by her husband Mike; son Jeff; daughter-in-law Cammie; and grandchildren, Zach, Tyler, Casey; her loyal dog Hannah; and many relatives and friends.

Sherry graduated from CK McClatchy HS and attended Sacramento Junior College. She was affiliated with KT Club and Alpha Sigma Sorority. She worked for over 35 years in the dental field.

Sherry had a flair for decorating, loved traveling and socializing with friends, many who have been playing bridge together since 1960. She and Mike shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Sherry will be sadly missed and remembered by all who knew and loved her. Her love of family, great sense of humor, cheerful smile, infectious laugh, loving ways and her faith in the Lord will live in our hearts forever.

Services will be held at Fremont Presbyterian Church, 5770 Carlson Dr., Sacramento on November 15, 2010 at 10:00am. Donations may be made to curepc.org, guidedogs.com or sspca.org
