Stephen - Steve - The "bag man" - I was always fascinated by your funny and jovial manner. Really enjoyed talking with Steve - he was always the kind of guy that made you feel welcome and wanted to know "how's it goin'?" Never forget - his dad and him were in the bag business - I thought that was really different and kind of strange too. Steve came from a Jewish background - I've always been fascinated by those with this heritage - he never talked about it, though, and I never asked, just knew. You know, race and backgrounds weren't really a big deal to us in high school - I didn't grow up "conscious" about race - we all got along so well - man, it was another age...things have changed big time. But, Steve, well - he was always constant - I wonder if he ran his dad's business? What a great guy! He'll be missed.
